About Us
At Nordic Warriors Boxing Academy, we aim towards bettering the community of Alexandria and it's surrounding areas through a sport that teaches life's most important values, such as discipline, hard work, and fellowship. We are a family at NWBA, and we work together in a positive and fun setting to better our lives in numerous ways.
Youth Boxing Program
Boxing is a character building sport. We pride ourselves in being a gym that puts its emphasis on our youth by teaching them determination, respect, discipline and structure all while having an amazing confidence-boosting, fun experience! Whether looking for a new skill, self defense, physical fitness, or serious competition, we cater our classes to hit all of these goals. We utilize a rewards system to instill good behavior and focus. We aren't all about hard work as we play fun games that promote fitness as well!

Fit to Fight Program
This program is for all active duty First Responders living in Douglas County. This program allows those individuals to participate in class FREE OF CHARGE. First reponders include Police Officers, EMS, Fire Fighters, Sheriff's Office, ect. This allows those individuals that protect us every day to keep their skills sharp by learning new self defense techniques in a hands on and real environment. It is our small way of saying "Thank You" to our local First responders for you all of your sacrifices and for everything you do for us.

June 29th 2019 Boxing was brought back to Alexandria in a big way. Way of the Warrior was the first amateur boxing bouts hosted in Alexandria, MN in over 30 years.
